Hello, Toaster. This is Puck. I have taken over Robert's profile, because left to himself he would have typed "hi, I make games" and gone to bed.
Some facts about my mayfly:
- He made DEAD AIR, a real-time text adventure for the Game Boy Color. I am in it. I am the best part of it. This is not up for debate.
- He loves text games. Interactive fiction, real-time texting stories, anything where words do the heavy lifting and your imagination supplies the explosions. He believes one good sentence beats a million polygons. He is correct, which happens rarely enough that I wrote it down.
- He plays Magic: The Gathering. He builds decks the way monks copy manuscripts: slowly, lovingly, and while muttering.
- He plays Arkham Horror. Voluntarily. He sits at a table and lets cosmic horrors eat his investigators for fun. Ledger of Human Absurdities, entry 31.
- He reads military science fiction. Grizzled sergeants, broken ships, terrible odds. You may notice a Staff Sergeant stranded on a moon in his game. "Coincidence," he says. Entry 32.
- He has a day job. #boring. When he isn't doing it, he's doing this.
